Long battery spy campera4/12/2023 ![]() ![]() Seems like going used or old school might be the easiest method. So there's nothing out there that can do this except this little spy device? I find it hard to believe we can't simply make larger capacity Lithium Ion batteries that can power devices for longer than just 2 hours. A simple camera or camcorder or recording device that uses ONLY an external battery bank that can keep it powered on to record long enough (8, 10, 12+ hours). ![]() The problem with this spy recorder is that it only takes footage at frame size 176x144 which is small and there's noīut basically, this is the principle and form factor I'm looking for. ![]() It's not an actual P&S camera or camcorder but one of those spy camera devices that can record 15 to 17 hours continuous using it's external BATTERY BANK it comes with. Killing my camcorder's life because of overheating? I haven't had any issues yet recording for 12 hours a day on camcorder. I do use a camcorder at present in my home, plugged into an AC wall socket, 32 gb card, and record for 10 hours straight onto the card all night. I can't use CCTV cameras as I don't have the option of connecting wires and cables to it to my a nearby AC plug in the wall. I was hoping I could simply find a simple camera (digital camera or camcorder) that could have enough power on its own to record during the night. Why not just use an in car dash cam? I have one already, and it's using the car battery power overnight, so I don't want to hook up another camera to the car battery and drain it dead. I'm hoping there is a camera out there that has something like a 50,000 MAH rechargeable Li ON battery pack/bank that is the size of a deck of cards or a small paperback novel, and can be used to power the camera (not charge the battery in the camera, but actually RUN THE CAMERA as if it were using the battery pack/bank as it's main battery source).Īh, perhaps I should further elaborate what I'm using this for.īasically, I want to use it for CCTV purposes in my CAR. I know each model often has an "extended" version of their batteries on ebay but even those only last an extra 1 or so, so 2.5 to 3 hours is still not long enough. Obviously, all the batteries that come with cameras are way too small and last only 1 to 2 hours max recording. I've seen people try and make their own "external battery packs" with DSLRs, but I was wondering if any P&S camera out there has an accessory like some kind of giant assĮxternal battery pack that can be attached to the camera and power it for 10 hours straight. Lasting battery that can allow me to record videos for 8, 10, or more hours STRAIGHT Any problems with our products or service, please do not worry, we will resolve it quickly and professionally.I'm looking for any point and shoot camera (cheap or expensive) that has the longest If stock is no longer available we will replace with equivalent or upgraded version.
